Ernie Wise Feb 22nd, 2004

Ernest Leslie Wise passed peacefully away at his home on Sunday February 22, 2004. Ernie had been a member of IATSE Local 118 since August 27, 1963. Ernie was proficient in many stage technical departments, including Carbon Arc Followspot, Props and Carpentry. However, he will most likely be remembered for his skills as a Flyman. Many IATSE members owe a great debt to him for the invaluable education we received in managing counterweight systems and rigging while working as his flyrail crew. Ernie was a stagehand. He remains our Brother in spirit.
